Operation Interdependence volunteers will join a national convoy departing San Francisco on June 16, stopping in 18 cities across the country until they reach their final destination of Washington, D.C., on June 29.

In his quest to meet his goal of reaching 250,000 troops each month, Renteria is taking his message on the road. Next month, Renteria and several Operation Interdependence volunteers will take part in a cross-country convoy sponsored by The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Interstate Highway System.
