Information collected on our web site:
Information is collected as part of the sign up
process and consists of the following information:
Name, e-mail address, physical address, country,
job function, and company-related information.
If you become a Volunteer, Sponsor or Contributor,
we may also require you to provide a valid credit
card number, expiration date and billing address.
The credit card information we collect is maintained
on your behalf on a secure server and is used
solely for the purpose of charging for the donation
you approved. In some cases, this will result
in a one-time charge on your credit card bill.
The charge will be identified as CyberCash.
Browser information collected on our web site:
As part of the operation of this site by Operation Interdependence®,
maintains server logs regarding visits to our
web site. Most companies and web sites maintain
such server logs as a function of operating web
sites. Operation Interdependence®
analyze such logs in an effort to constantly improve
the value of materials on the site. The logs do
not contain personally identifiable information.
Neither Operation Interdependence®. From time to time, Operation Interdependence®,
may break down overall usage statistics according
to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME
type by reading information from the browser string
(information contained in every user's browser).
Again, we make no efforts to associate this information
with individual users.
Cookies:
A cookie is a small data file that certain web
sites write to your Web browser (your computer's
hard drive) so it can later be read back from
that browser. A cookie file can contain certain
information such as a user ID that the site uses
to track the pages you have visited on that site.

Operation Interdependence® uses session cookies,
which are removed by your browser when the browser
closes and which contains only a unique ID, which
is not associated with any Personally Identifiable
Information. The cookie is placed on your system
only after your log on and allows us to identify
which services you are entitled to use during
that session.
Privacy of Our E-mail Lists:
Operation Interdependence® maintains e-mail lists,
but only of those individuals or organizations
that have specifically opted to receive updates
and other information from the Operation Interdependence®.
These lists include Operation Interdependence®'s
Volunteers, Sponsors, Contributors, and interested
members of the general public who have specifically
requested to be kept informed about breaking events.
Opt In:
Individuals must affirmatively request inclusion
on our lists. Any personal information provided
by such individual will be used only to send the
user such information. By default, you are opted
out of receiving information from use. If you
opt in during the signup process, you will be
added to our list.
If you change your mind, you may opt out by updating
your member information and unchecking the appropriate
check box.
We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the
addresses on our lists to anyone. In addition,
we configure our list server software to refuse
to divulge the e-mail addresses of our list subscribers
to anyone but authorized Operation Interdependence®
staff, including other list subscribers.
If you send us e-mail with a question or comment,
we will use your e-mail address only to respond
to you. We will store your e-mail, e-mail address,
and a copy of our response for archival purposes
only. We will archive such information only for
the length of time necessary to fulfill these
archival purposes. At the conclusion of such time,
we will delete such archived information.
Correction and Update Policy:
Please send us e-mail at info@oidelivers.org to
ask us for any information we may have collected
about you during your visits to our site. You
may also use that address to correct and/or update
information that we may have on file.
Operation Interdependence® allows users to review
and agree to the Privacy Policy before submitting
any personally identifiable information. In addition,
because at least one link to the Privacy Policy
appears on each page of this site, it is readily
accessible to users.
Children:
No part of this site is directed to children.
We will never knowingly collect information from
users under the age of 18 without parental consent.
Delete/Deactivation Policy:
If you wish to completely delete any personal
information you submitted to Operation Interdependence®
you may do so by contacting us at delete@oidelivers.org.
We will notify you of our receipt of your request.
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to
functionally delete all such information from
our database within five working days from the
date of the receipt of your request. Please note
that it may be impossible to delete a user's entry
without some residual information because of backups
and records of deletions.
Length of Time Data Will Be Stored:
Unless you request that we delete any of the information
you submitted to Operation Interdependence® when
you registered for any electronic updates and/or
newsletters we may offer, we will store such information
for a period of two years. At the conclusion of
that time, all such information will be automatically
deleted.
Operation Interdependence® will use industry-standard
measures to protect the security of all personal
information.
What Else Should You Know?
Please be careful and responsible whenever you're
online. If you post personal information online
that is accessible to the public, you may receive
unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
